BED BUGS!! WATCH OUT! (Update Below)
Our 7 yr old daughter woke up with them all over her and in her bed. I had a large bug crawl on my shoulder and the wall at the head of our bed was crawling with them. I went to the front desk and the front desk person was extremely rude, unprofessional and didn’t seem to care. But, he did seem to care a lot more about arguing with me instead of attempting to at least be courteous. Even someone checking in was astounded at how he was acting and made sure to tell me I did nothing wrong, and I wasn’t rude in her opinion. We (myself, my wife, 7 yr old and 3 yr old) packed up, left immediately (11:30 PM), and checked into another hotel. There was lots or dust, some nuts (we didn’t bring any nuts) and some kind of pill between the bed side table and the bed(s). Not real clean.
Also, the indoor pool isn’t that great. Not sure why it got such a good rating.
Spoke with the GM the morning after. She didn’t even seem to care and didn’t want to listen. She did agree to refund the 3rd party booking.
I guess hospitality and professionalism are dead at this Best Western.
