Our trip to Branson, MO took an incredible turn when we decided to indulge in a dinner show at the Shepherd of the Hills Playhouse Dinner Theater. And let me tell you, it was an absolute blast! They had the fan-favorite Million Dollar Quartet back in action, and it was nothing short of tremendous.
From the moment the show started, we were transported back in time to 1956, into the legendary Sun Records Studios. We found ourselves in the midst of music history as the iconic quartet – Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis – came together for what would become the greatest jam session ever witnessed.
The performance was an electrifying mix of stage drama and foot-tapping live music. With hits like “Great Balls of Fire,” “Hound Dog,” “I Walk the Line,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” and more, we couldn’t resist singing along and getting into the groove.
The Playhouse Dinner Theater at Shepherd of the Hills offered the perfect setting for this sensational performance. And speaking of dinner, it was absolutely delightful! Savoring a delicious meal while enjoying such a captivating show made the entire experience even more memorable.
